ARTISTS AT A GLANCE: CASTING CROWNS

Casting Crowns is a band that started as a student worship band in 1999 at First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida, but later, they moved to Stockbridge, Georgia where some of the members are currently working as ministers of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church.  It was formed by youth pastor Mark Hall. Their music genre is Contemporary Christian and Christian Rock.

Current members are:

Mark Hall - lead singer and songwriter
Melanie Hall - road manager and Mark's wife
Megan Garrett - piano, keyboards and vocals
Hector Cervantes - lead guitar and vocals
Juan Devevo - guitar and vocals
Melodee Devevo - violin, cello and vocals
Chris Huffman - bass guitar and vocals
Brian Scoggin - drums
